On April 20, the Government decided that people with a medical indication born between 1961 and 2003 should be vaccinated with priority at the GGD. These are the people who are also invited annually for the flu shot.
When will all people with a medical indication be invited?
It concerns more than a million people. They cannot all make an appointment at the same time. That is why they are invited in phases. People from this target group will receive an invitation by mail between 4 and 20 May.
When will people aged 50-59 (birth years 1961-1970) without a medical indication be invited?
In principle, it is the turn of the 50-59-year-olds without a medical indication shortly after vaccination of the medical risk group. They will be invited by the RIVM for vaccination at the GGD. It is possible that one or more age years will be invited at the same time as this target group.
